methinks that the great hunter was a bit overconfident about his shot placement!!!!!!!!!---in case you didn't realize, a .270 is well more than adequate firepower, for any deer!
yes this is very true but would you really argue against the virtues of a bigger gun? I don't think so.
Bigger gun, for bigger or tougher target, but .25-06 or .223 Rem is more than adequate, for deer-----and doesn't damage as much meat.
