Who Dares Wins
Let me start by saying that I don't believe in interventionist foreign policy, specifically when it comes to military force. I think that it is seldom in our best interest to devote our military forces to the internal issues of another nation. We also do not live in a political or historical vacuum so lets not get all testy and think that this opinion applies to every situation with the same vigor.
There, that being said I think it's about time to see a great big tattoo in the shape of a flaming sword where Tehran used to be. Turn the SAS loose and see who walks back out.
I'm not sure what's going on in the halls of the British leadership but if 15 of their sailors really were within Iraqi waters when they were taken hostage by the Iranians, then it's time to turn
Ahmadinejad's house into a pile of pink fucking gravel. Maybe this is why I'm not a world leader but I think somebody needs to pull a good old-fashioned mafia style Kadafi compound move. We haven't heard much from that little prick since we liquidated some of his family for him.
Don't go over and live there and try to change people. Just show up, administer a swift, sharp, bloody spanking, grab the hostages, leave a flower on the pillow and get the fuck back out.

"If they want to treat us with threats and enforcement of coercion and violence, undoubtedly they must know that the Iranian nation and authorities will use all their capacities to strike enemies that attack."
-Friday the 23rd Iran announces Ahmadinejad canceled trip to speak before the UN Security Council
-Saturday the 24th the UN security council imposes new sanctions on Iran after they again refused to suspend their nuclear enrichment program. Member nations including Britain
-Ahmadinejad is quoted saying that people "seeking to impose sanctions against Iran will suffer a greater damage themselves"
-Wednesday the 28th Iranian soldiers enter Iraqi waters and forcibly kidnap 15 British sailors
-Iranian officials initially report the location of the British soldiers as in Iraqi waters when they were captured, then released a new and different location after British officials pointed that fact out to them

One third of Washington DC residents are illiterate
A recent study by the State Education Agency, a semi Marxist 'educational' group has determined that 170,000 people in the District of Columbia are functionally Illiterate.

Guilty Pleasure
I have to admit it... I have a little bit of a crush on Camille Paglia. I know she's a left wing academic which should illicit thoughts of Hitleresque German schiza style pornography; but she just knows how to say the things that make me a little mushy.
Like her recent comments about Hillary...
"Her aping of a black Southern accent from the pulpit was so inept and patronizing that it should get a Razzie Award for Worst Performance of the Year. At times, it approached the Southern Gothic burlesque of Bette Davis chewing up the scenery in "Hush ... Hush, Sweet Charlotte." Does Hillary Clinton have a stable or coherent sense of self? Or is everything factitious, mimed and scripted (like her flipping butch and femme masks) for expediency?"
"All that Sunday, network radio news, for example, betrayed its liberal bias by running clips of only her noblest phrases. Heaven help any Republican who had made so lurid a gaffe! Perhaps it's time for the fire and the brimstone and all that. I mean seriously if gather up all the religious metaphors from all the really good and scary religions and put them together, perhaps they equal what is due society in the midst of this kind of fucking nonsense. I can't begin to wrap my brain around a world where a high school dropout can silence a scientist because she and her GED know better than he. I'm not saying that his theories are right or wrong but what I am saying is that when we silence the debate because the established government morons have made up they're fucking puny little minds then we have lost every inch of freedom our grandfathers died for. And I'm serious when I use the word MORON... a high school dropout and career govt hack thinks that her job is to establish a government sponsored scientific THEORY, and that others cannot disagree. I Feel Dirty
I've decided that a two-party political system is like two rapists, arguing with each other about which orifice they are going to use when they screw you until you bleed to death; and then about which one gets to eat your remains. It's time friends for an uprising. It's time to take to the street with torches and pitchforks (not sure anymore where to get pitchforks but they are clearly a must in this case) and tear down the mechanism that enslaves us. It is time for us to round up and slaughter them all. One big pile of disgusting, filthy, suit and tie wearing rapist slime; dead to the last man (or woman).

Two fer One
It's that time of year again, when people come together to celebrate a very special holiday.... My Birthday!
And for my birthday today I got two cool unexpected presents. Wall Street announced that this years bonuses would be the highest paid out ever. Now that is two presents for me. For one it allows me to spend a few minutes talking about how the free market re-distributes wealth better than and dirty pinko "socialist" system could, and I also get to listen to the dirty commies around the world cry about 'conspicuous consumption' and how tragic it is that people get paid well for something. Never mind the fact that hundreds if not thousands of people will get better jobs, or raises or earn more due to higher sales volume in the area. Never mind the fact that the tax revenue created by the bonus' alone will foster improved government services. Never mind the fact that a great deal of that increased standard of living provided to the citizens is the direct result of lowering taxes. They will still cry about how unfair it is that anyone gets to be wealthy. As if fairness depends on everyone starving together. Ha ha ha... Take my Laffer Curve right to the kisser.
Just look what Adam Goldman had to say.

Five years ago when it started looking grim for law abiding folks who wanted to enjoy a cigarette now and again I said it; they were coming after your food next, and here they are. You will start seeing a public relations push talking about the big corporate monsters that are poisoning you with... wait for it... Food. We are already seeing it, but believe me it will get out of hand.

RIP Liberty we hardly knew ye..
We held these truths to be self-evident, that all men were created equal, that they were endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these were Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
But today, standing together we have lost a friend. No, we have lost a brother, a husband, a confidant, a dear companion. We stand together now with an empty spot in our hearts that will follow us for the length of our days. A spot that will always, if only symbolically, belong to our dearest Liberty. Here for a hairs breath it seems and then, gone.
It is a difficult and painful thing to watch the incrementally slow death of a friend. It is a difficult and painful thing to see his life drained out little by little before your eyes. It is an unbearable thing to watch that life drained out in another’s hands.
Liberty left us quietly this morning. Liberty left us when a man, an ordinary man suppressed his last breath. Liberty gave very little fight as that man, Michael Bloomberg, pushed him on to some distant shore.
Understand I come here to bury Liberty, not to praise him. The evil that men do lives after them. Liberty was my friend and treated me well. But Michael Bloomberg says that he was corrupting me and Bloomberg is an honorable man. Elected as he was by the judgment of honorable men. Now he finds that living among us, in the spirit that offered Bloomberg his place, was a villain. A villain whose heart, by which all of us have lived in the apparent faulty dependence of our own faculties, must now be cut away a piece at a time until it's beat is but a memory.
How deep is the pain of discovering that the judgment that brought us all together in this place, the judgment with which we choose our leaders, the judgment with which we have carried society on to its next great steps, is in fact our enemy. An enemy that has laid dark among us, eating at our tables; No, filling our tables and our houses, filling our hearts and our minds, is but the devil himself.
How deep a sense of betrayal knowing that he that gave us everything, he that brought us all our prosperity, is in fact our betrayer? And what was the sin of our dearest brother Liberty. What curator of life’s artifacts has pulled the cloth away to reveal the devil within him? Trans Fatty Acids. The name alone sends a shiver down my spine.
If Liberty that has given us a prosperous society, if Liberty that has built our houses and paved our streets, if liberty that has fed not only us but the world, if Liberty that feeds that world does so with a large pepperoni pizza and a bucket of extra crispy, then I say 'Gentlemen bear up that pall and carry our dear friend Liberty to his final rest. Fried foods are too high a price to pay, for a tiny thing like Freedom.
