Global Warming Blamed for Lack of Concern over Global Warming

Officials in Johannesburg are blaming the effects of climate change for the unexpectedly low turnout at their leg of the Live Earth concert series over the weekend. It seems that while global warming is supposed to be a really serious issue it's not serious enough to get the issue's activists out on a... wait for it... unusually COLD evening. That's right we wanted to go to the big global warming party but it wasn't warm enough out.

Global warming seems to be just the most recent in a string of causes aimed at keeping lazy hippies from having to get real jobs.

Jefferson Lives

On this day in 1826, two men passed each other on a road in Virginia. Both men carried dire news; the passing of a former president and founding father. One man on his way to the house of Thomas Jefferson to announce the passing of John Adams. One man on his way to the house of John Adams to announce the passing of Thomas Jefferson. 50 years to the day after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, two men instrumental in the founding of our nation passed away within hours of each other.

Adams on his deathbed was comforted about the future of the union by the fact that his friend and rival Thomas Jefferson remained to carry the torch. Little did he know that he had outlived Jefferson by mere hours. Years earlier he had predicted that he would outlive Jefferson and now he believed that to be false. In his last words we can see the hope and the fear for the future of our nation.

"Thomas Jefferson still survives."

Enjoy your 4th of July folks and take a minute to read a little bit of what the revolutionary's wrote. A document that they believed to be their death warrant.

Al Gore's Kid

So Albert Gore III has been arrested again. He was allegedly traveling down a Los Angeles freeway at speeds up to a hundred miles an hour high out of his goddamn mind and probably drunk. He was found to be in possession of Marijuana, Xanax, Valium, Vicodin and Adderall.

And guess what the little heir to the eco-terrorist tree hugger pervert throne was driving... Go on guess...

It was a Prius.

I giggled like a little girl. You will too.

This seems to be the Gore message I think. Save the environment but fuck the people. I wonder is it illegal in California to be driving under the influence and in possession of countless illegal drugs if you are, at the time, driving an environmentally friendly hybrid car. I mean cause that's what matters in the world right now, isn't it?

When are people going to learn

Prosecutorial misconduct is NOT for rich white people... If people like this prick Nifong don't learn this simple fact it's going to ruin the fine art of withholding evidence to achieve and unjust conviction for everyone. I mean what's next? Fair trials for people regardless of race color or creed... Can we afford to let that happen? If prosecutors getting bent over and rogered for their scandalously criminal behavior goes on too long then they might stop doing those things. Think of how many innocent law abiding Black people will stay on the streets then... So this is an open warning to American Jurists, if you don't stop screwing innocent rich white kids, you are going to have to stop screwing all innocent people.

Restoring my faith in Humanity

Every once in a while I see something that reminds me of the good in the world. Something comes along that reminds me that maybe, just maybe not everyone should be killed. Today is one of those days.

Since 1973 the American public have never given the Unites States Congress an approval rating lower than 18%, until today. Today the question do you have a "great deal or quite a lot of confidence in Congress" was met with a yes by only 14% if those questioned.

Gallup

Just to put that into perspective for you... Americans hate congress now more than the Demoncrats hated congress when the Repugnacans were in charge... I'll repeat that for those of you that have trouble reading. Americans, all of us, you, me, all of us, have less confidence in the US Congress than the D's did when the R's were running the show. That means that you'll find more people right now at McDonald's that don't trust the House of Representatives than you would have three years ago at a N.O.W. rally hosted by Gloria Steinem.

Ok so maybe I'm comparing two sets of unrelated data and manipulating them for my own purposes. Perhaps my analysis is less "true" than it is pleasing... But, I will say this, the approval ratings across the board have gone down since the mighty D's came in to save the day. Also people really really hate Congress. I mean more than they hate all kinds of other things... I would venture a guess that 'Congressman' is the most hated minority in America. Take that Blacks, Jews and Mexicans... Ha. Perhaps we should have an immigration policy that keeps members of our own government out.

June Gloom

I'm not one for making predictions (that's not true), but from where I stand the field looks bleak. My estimate at this point is that if the primaries were held today we would be looking at a Hillary Vs. Fred Thompson race. Rasmussen Reports has Thompson taking the lead in the republican race this week even though he has yet to actually enter the race or spend any real money. This may be symptomatic of a failing idea to extend the election season by moving up the primaries. It appears like it was initially a Demoncrat strategy to seize momentum coming out of the midterms. Alas for the D's that theory is short lived. They have faltered out of the gates and now congress is the only group of people in the country less popular than President Bush. With no momentous coat tails to ride on it will be a hard race for the D's. Things are no better for the R's however, with a very unpopular presidency to work past and what looks like a conflict that will outlive the current administration. What's more is that the longer election season doesn't seem to offer any assistance to the R's cause. More time means more money spent by each of the many many candidates and that whittles down the war chests of both parties. The emergence of an outsider, or at least a late entrant in the fray seems the only possible way for a candidate to hit the ground with any kind of real money.

The winners it would seem in this long term arrangement are the media companies that get to sell ad time in all kinds of markets that are usually not in huge demand.

The losers, of course are all of us. We get less real governing for our money and way more campaigning to tie up two major branches of government. I guess I should be pleased as I agree with Thomas Paine that a government is best that governs least. What I'm not pleased about is how much of my money they are pissing away on what amounts to a petty turf war between parties with very little hope of any achievement.

The Loser of the week however is Hillary Clinton... An ad campaign this week on her campaign web site features a video of her and her husband Bill talking about selections on a juke box at a greasy spoon diner. They get dirty looks from the diner attendee's (as well they should). Then Hillary who barely manages to mask her contempt for being in such a common establishment, hints at a selection she has made... Her campaign song. The sketch as I'm told is a spoof on the Soprano's finale' (haven't seen it as I'm working my way through on DVD). Which for a seasoned criminal such as Hillary is appropriate enough, but the real fun is when you find out what the song is.

"You and I" by Canadian Celine Dion.

That's right. Hillary like many D's thinks that the answers for our country's questions lie... In CANADA....

Hill. thinks there are no Americans who can encompass her goals in a race to be the next AMERICAN PRESIDENT.

Just like the queen of the D's to assume that we here in the US are to dumb to understand the direction our country should go.

Seriously... What a cunt.

Besides if you are going to pick a Canadian... Hello... Shatner. Duh

Eco-Fiction-Alarmist-Perverts Targeting Children

"Wise men argue causes, and fools decide them." Frank Tyger

Here it is. Proof positive that the Eco-Alarmist political action groups are intentionally targeting underage children with their propagandist tree-hugger pornography. Worst of all, innocent young Canadians, who of course stand no chance of ever possessing the political clout to affect change.

Canadian Children

I'll bet the government run schools aren't presenting arguments from

Aware: (according to Merriam-Webster)
Main Entry: aware
Pronunciation: &-'wer
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English iwar, from Old English gewær, from ge- (associative prefix) + wær wary -- more at CO-, WARY
1 archaic : WATCHFUL, WARY
2 : having or showing realization, perception, or knowledge
- aware·ness noun

Aware: (according to Global Warming Alarmists)
Compulsory and unquestioning agreement with a certain dictated set of ideas without the presentation of any dissenting or even differing systems of data.

When a political group claims to 'raise awareness' what they are saying is that no person who examines the same set of data, or any other available data (about which said political group is either unaware or uninterested), could possibly reach a different conclusion, and thusly should not be bothered with an exercise of open discourse, and free thought. Simply accept the opinion of said political group because as you all know they are smarter and much more well read than you could ever hope to be. 'Raising awareness' is an old trick in the realm of public debate in which you 'prove' your point by presupposing it in the basis of the argument. This is a trick well practiced by grifters and con-men in such scams as the paranoia scam, the snake oil scam, and many forms of long and short investment cons, and of course one of the greatest cons of all time The United States Congress.

Make no mistake about it, no matter the true nature of the scientific facts involved, those that seek to close this debate with a cry for action and action alone, those that seek to stifle free and open discourse are no more than sycophantic perverts.

To put it another way Dale Carnegie once said

"Fear not those who argue, but those who dodge."

Chris Mathews

"People who live on the east coast or live in California or in Oregon
really don't know that America which is the main part of the country
the Red-State America which is so evangelical, where people really do vote their religion
who really don't like a lot of modernity, they really don't like the way everything has gotten so
secular." Chris Mathews on Jerry Falwell's death (MSNBC)

See I was almost caught by this statement. I almost took offense at the idea that because I'm from Oregon, a coastal state, I couldn't possibly understand middle America. But Ahhh no, I'm not fooled by you Chris Mathews. I know what what you are really doing is mocking the flyover states and their cute little religion. Mocking the way they shy away from the modernity and cling to the fraying edges of an old way, in the face of the overpowering and unbeatable winds of change. As if Iowa was fighting to keep the internet away.

America Loses an Opponent to....

Whores, Queers, Sodomites, Baby killers, Feminists, Jews, Liberals, Humanists, Pornographers, Larry Flynt, Porno fans, Adulterers, Rag-Heads, Drunks, Smokers, Scientologists, Billy Graham (of all people), All of Hollywood, Blacks, Desmond Tutu, The Pagans, and ANYONE ANYWHERE WHO'S EVER HAD ANY FUN AT ALL.

I will remind you friends, not to celebrate the death of any man. The loss of Jerry Falwell will mark a significant drop in direct mail fund-raising activities for a good many organizations of varying ranges. The vast majority of organizations opposed by the Dr. Falwell have suffered only success as a result. Just ask black South Africans, or Larry Flynt how they're doing and how they like freedom.

Perhaps Dr. Falwell's greatest achievement in life was to create and rally the largest opposition to Christianity in this country's recent history. He sought out any person that he could possibly make an enemy of the church. He made opponents of so many that previously didn't care about Christianity. Way to go Jerry.

Racist

Al Sharpton... Nobody believes your bullshit. You waited less than three weeks after getting a man fired for what you called "racist" comments before you then state that Mormons are not people who "really believe in god". You fucking bigot. It amazes me that nobody has bothered to shoot you, you worthless piece of shit. I'm astonished at how many homicides are take place in America that don't involve Al Sharpton as a victim. I mean seriously I'm not voting for Romney either but to question a mans faith while standing on the high ground from which you destroyed another man's career; I mean I haven't seen this kind of bullshit since your buddy the Honorable Reverend Jesse Jackson knocked up that poor girl while he was consulting Bill Clinton on the Lewinski scandal. Seriously the Black Community is so much better and so much more honorable than you people. You represent nobody.

Melee'

Yeah... I was right this is a VP debate. Running to the party invoking the great Reagan. If the republicans have any sense whatsoever they will let these guys fight over their own mediocrity until all but one of them falls down dead, and whoever is left gets to run as the party whore VP that follows the winning candidate that steps in to clean up the mess.

Standouts from the party boringness include Ron Paul who appeals highly to pre-Reagan conservatives and libertarians and he wants to repeal all kinds of ugly taxes and move us to a sound monetary policy. Oh and who doesn't stand a chance in the primary. Gov. Tommy Thompson who is both well informed and well spoken but will never be presidential. Thompson's the kind of man that would have been great as a candidate 60 years ago. Now he's a VP candidate.

None of these guys is going to be a heavy hitter in a general election. And I'll tell you another thing, Newt Gingrich is not a contender either, whether you like him or not he's not the answer to the R's woes.

Post script:
Nancy and the Governator seen with Mitt at the end... Hmmmm

Pre-Game

Warming up to the first Repugnantcan primary debate, a mere 550 days till Election Day I can hardly contain myself with all this time pressure. This debate follows on the heals of a Demoncrat debate watched by... well I'm sure someone watched it. With the D's there's always a chance that one or more will suddenly burst free and devour their own baby. The R's I'm afraid seem unlikely to be even that interesting. I can't seem to shake the feeling that all ten of these contenders are vying for the VP slot that will open up behind whichever real candidate enters the race when this monkey mess gets out of hand.

It's almost like a group audition in front of Nancy. I hope she has better taste than these guys.

We'll see.

French Presidential Debate

Two candidates for the presidency of France debated each other Wednesday. Though I can't go into the specifics it is believed that they spent the better part of an hour arguing over who hated the Jews more and which one was willing to pay a foreign government a larger amount of money to bomb Israel.

Sources say the debate ended in a draw when both candidates surrendered to each other and then asked the U.S. for help.

Large chairs on The View

I've never watched an episode of The View. It seems unlikely that I ever will. I can't imagine very many things that matter less to me than the happenings within the worlds most pointless estrogen circle jerk.

I do wonder though this week with an article in the New York Post suggesting that Rosie O'Donnell may be replaced with Rosanne Bar, if perhaps The View is showing it's stripes a little. What can we surmise from a predilection towards obnoxious, morbidly obese, women who have proven themselves to be weak comics. Maybe they just didn't want to have to replace the enormous chair they bought for Rosie's HUGE ass and bigger head.

Virginia Tech

I have promised an entry regarding the Virginia Tech shooting.

I have two things and two things only to say here.

My heart and thoughts are with all 33 of the families that have been so viciously torn apart by this disgusting act. I only hope that some day they may find peace in the solemn knowledge that a world mourns with them, and that each of us feels a little more personal responsibility for interactions with our fellow man.

Also for anyone who has ever argued that people do not need guns because the police are there to protect them, I'll remind you that the police in this case, who did their job to the best of their ability, were unable to stop this horrific mess, even being involved 2 hours before the event. No phone call to the police would have stopped this madman during his rampage. The only thing that could have stopped him would be 230 grains of 45acp hollow point goodness, that the now deceased citizens in the classrooms were prohibited by law from having.

You cannot anticipate the acts of madmen, you cannot expect to prevent all madmen from availing themselves of the tools for destruction. If they can't find guns, they find bombs, bombs made from everyday items around the home, if they cant find bombs they find another way. Perhaps they stretch the killing out over more time, but they will find a way to kill.

As if...

As if I needed another reason not to vote for this asshole...

Nappy Headed Hoe's

Imus is out and Sharpton claims this is just the beginning. With backing from such vicious language Nazi's like the Anti Defamation League, how can things go wrong from here.

I had the pleasure of working with some people from the ADL in Nebraska a few years ago. We were producing a tour of a show about the Holocaust. The show was particularly poignant and very difficult to watch if you have any sense of decency.

What struck me about our meetings with ADL employees was that they were not very interested in having us inform students about the events surrounding the murder of 11 million people. What they were interested in was the language we used to talk about it. They insisted that we should never use scary words or language. They didn't want us to alarm children, to inform children, to teach anything about the politics of hate. What they wanted us to talk about was how children talked about things. They wanted us to tell children that the holocaust shows us that it's not ok to tell dirty jokes, or say anything that's not nice, or use words that identify groups of people. As if Hitler would have been stopped if less people were overheard saying 'so three Jews walk into a bar'.

With that in mind I wonder how Al Sharpton can spend any time talking about the statements of Don Imus when he repeatedly defended and endorsed

This Man

Since Sharpton is so adamant about policing speech perhaps he should talk about his use of the term "diamond merchant" as a slur against Hasidic Jews in Crown Heights, 1991. Maybe he'll discuss it when he finally apologizes to the parents of Yankel Rosenbaum for his role in the riots that ended in the stabbing death of their son. I guess it's more repulsive for a white man to criticize a group of black college basketball players that it would be for an angry mob of black Americans to chant "kill the Jew" while slaughtering an innocent rabbinical student in the street.

Maybe he could stick it in with his apology for repeatedly involving himself in cases that wrongly accuse white men of rape, and then ignoring the results when they are proved innocent.

Al Sharpton is a racist anti-Semite who has repeatedly incited riotous violent behavior against people based on their race.

But hey, Imus called somebody a name on his comedy show. What an asshole.

Evolution?

I love dogs, and normally I would say hurrah for the elderly killing themselves in celebration of a dog's life. In this case, however I say hurrah for society, because the elderly who in 13 years didn't bother to name their dog (they called it 'puppy'), killed themselves when s/he passed on. They killed themselves over a pet for whom they could not think of a name!!! I'll let you stew in that for a minute... I wonder if the dog killed it's self when it realized they were never giving it a goddamn name... Paris Hilton has a dog, why doesn't she kill herself. I'm getting a dog very soon but don't hold your breath, I'm in it for the long haul.

Dog's Life
